In addition to classic logo placement on the umbrella, the configurator offer a further, special highlight: AI inspiration at the push of a button. The customers are not only shown their individually branded umbrellas as a neutral product, but actually in action. Whether in a stadium, in the city centre or at outdoor events – AI generates evocative visual images that present the umbrella including its logo authentically.

Using the application has consciously been kept simple: Logos are placed directly on the umbrella in the configurator, the colours and positions are adapted intuitively. The AI inspiration is started at the touch of a button and generates realistic mood images in a flash. The process can be repeated as often as desired and provides new visual approaches with the same product every time. The distributors can then choose the most suitable image that is presented to their customer together with the quote.

“Our AI inspirations not only help showcase umbrellas, they also bring them to life,” says Sven Peters, Team Leader E-Commerce. “Customers can immediately see what their logo looks like in action – this supports consultation, presentation and decision-making alike,” says Peters, who led the project at Fare.

Even if the configurator is currently still in the beta phase, customers can always find a suitable option thanks to the selection of AI-inspired mood images. “The AI visualisations will continue to improve over the course of time,” the team leader explained. “It was important to us that our customers could benefit from this innovative tool as quickly as possible.”
