D – The seventh and thus concluding venue of the GWW-Newsweek roadshow organised by the German Promotional Products Association, GWW, took place in Dresden on March 11. The concept involves distributors from the regions of the event venues inviting their end user customers to visit the tour to take part in consultations with the exhibiting suppliers.
Unlike in the previous years, when the Newsweek events were held within a tightly defined schedule, this year’s Newsweek spanned a total of six weeks, starting in Frankfurt am Main on January 28, and ending in Dresden on March 11.
According to official sources, 3,899 visitors attended the various venues in total, which were spread out across Germany – that corresponds to an average attendance of 557 visitors per venue. According to the GWW, the shows in Frankfurt and Stuttgart were especially well-attended, with 730 and 864 visitors, respectively. The latter was a new record. 14 participating promotional products agency with their own counter in Stuttgart’s Hanns-Marting-Schleyer Hall in Stuttgart also set a new record. The other locations counted 575 (Hamburg), 299 (Bielefeld), 363 (Dortmund), 547 (Berlin) and 521 (Dresden) visitors, respectively.

Numerous discussions were also held at the venue in Dortmund.
The organiser was highly satisfied with the outcome of the roadshow in terms of the number of visitors and the feedback and emphasised that the countless conversations, new contacts and good atmosphere all contributed towards the success of the events. “Experiencing promotional products live, engaging in an exchange and initiating business are what characterise the Newsweek.”
The next trade show scheduled by the GWW is the GWW-Trend Autumn, which is taking place at the X-Post in Cologne on September 22, 2026.
