Daiber’s climate neutral main catalogue.
D – The textile wholesaler, Daiber, based in Albstadt, Germany presented an entirely climate neutral main catalogue in January 2026, which features sporty styles, colourful workwear and modern cross-over items. The catalogue is printed on 100% FSC-certified, resource-conserving recycled paper. In comparison to conventional virgin fibre paper, according to Daiber this method of catalogue production saves 79% water, 73% energy and 42% CO2. The textile wholesaler compensates for the unavoidable emissions generated by the printing process at Kaufmann’s printing plant in Lahr, through a certified climate protection project in cooperation with ClimatePartner, which supports reforestation efforts in German forests. Here among others, one tree is planted in the Harz Mountains, Thuringian Forest or in the Vogelsberg region. The measure is combined with a certified solar energy project in Togo, which produces approx. 88,000 MWh of electricity per annum.
“Thanks to our collaboration with ClimatePartner, we not only make an important contribution to the protection of our climate and biodiversity, we also help supply renewable energy to around 160,000 households and small businesses in Togo, West Africa,” stated Managing Director, Kai Gminder, who runs the company together with Christof Kunze. The new collection, which is made using environmentally-friendly materials and the climate neutral catalogue underlines Daiber’s commitment in combining modern corporate fashion with responsibility for the environment and the future.
