CZ – The Czech textile manufacturer, Malfini, Ústi nad Labem, announced significant progress in the expansion of its logistics centre in Ostrava earlier this summer. The new Haipick robot was delivered in June, the conveyer belts and shelfing system were subsequently installed in July. The new logistics centre boasts cutting-edge technology and according to company accounts ensures a more efficient picking and packing process, reduced physical strain for the employees and expanded warehousing capacities.

Furthermore, the 13th annual charity hike to Sněžka, the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, was on the agenda in the summer. Malfini provided 2,100 fantasy-themed charity T-shirts for the occasion, which sold-out in a flash. Among other things, the sale of the shirts raised 80,000 Euros for the KlaPeto Foundation, which supports children with a disability. The textile manufacturer has already confirmed its support for next year’s event.
