A – On October 1, 2026 the markeding impulse will be kicking off in the Design Center Linz with a new concept, new connections and an extended circle of sponsors. The new format, a significant extension of the Upper Austrian edition, combines a trade show, high-profile keynotes and community networking and thus provides fresh impetus for the industry, according to the organisers.

In addition to the long-standing partners, Forum Werbemittel and Wertpräsent, the renowned Upper Austrian agencies, ebets and HSW Werbemittel, will also be onboard in the Design Center in Linz for the first time as sponsors. Around 90 exhibitors from the haptic advertising, merchandising and visual communications sectors are to present novelties and examples of best practice in October 2026. The event will be accompanied by a curated keynote programme on topics such as brand moments through haptics, USPs and brand code, AI 2.0 in the everyday routine, the 2026 Trend Barometer as well as the role of haptics in advertising.

When the show closes, the “markeding connect” after-work event will continue to promote the exchange: The exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and VIP guests will meet up amid a relaxed atmosphere in a lounge setting with music and catering.

The co-organiser, Katharina Zettl, stated: “The trade show continues to be what it is: strong. However, there is more to come now. We are systematically further developing the markeding impulse format – the products will become visible, know-how perceivable and the future tangible.” “Our vision is to create space for resonance,” the organiser, Martin Zettl, added. “Encounters that not only inspire, but also create concrete food for thought and connections for tomorrow.”

The markeding has advanced into one of the leading trade shows for haptic advertising in Austria in recent years. With locations in Vienna and Linz (previously Wels) it has long since become a must-attend event for the industry. 2,626 trade visitors attended the last edition at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna on April 10, including primarily decision-makers from the industry, retail business and trade.

In 2024, markeding became the first trade show in the industry to be awarded with the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Events. It is also the aim of the markeding impulse to be awarded with the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Events. Among other things, a free public transport ticket for all trade fair visitors is planned.
