UK – The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) marked a successful return to the Crowne Plaza, Marlow on June 4, 2025 for its Annual Conference, with strong attendance and resoundingly positive feedback from members and guests, according to the organisers.
This year’s event introduced a refreshed format, designed to offer greater engagement and subject variety. For the first time, the conference included breakout sessions, allowing attendees to choose from three parallel morning sessions and tailor the day to their interests to encourage more interactive discussions and knowledge sharing.
This year’s BPMA Annual Conference introduced a refreshed format, designed to offer engagement and subject variety – including talks on subjects such as TikTok strategy, brand identity, and intellectual property protection.
The day began with a lively networking breakfast, followed by the official opening by BPMA Chair Clive Allcott and an address from BPMA CEO Phil Goodman, who provided an overview of the Association’s latest work and a broader perspective on the evolving industry landscape. Attendees then moved into their selected breakout sessions, which included talks on TikTok strategy, brand identity, and intellectual property protection. After a short coffee break, the sessions resumed with discussions on deaf awareness in the workplace, progress towards net zero, international trade, and updates on product safety regulations. A buffet lunch provided further networking opportunities before the afternoon programme began. The event concluded on a high note with an innovative keynote delivered by maverick inventor Tom Lawton.
“We wanted to refresh the format to provide a broader range of subjects, so every delegate had the opportunity to take positives away and hopefully leave the conference with more information on subjects relevant to them than when they arrived. We sincerely hope that Conference ‘25 reflected the new BPMA positioning of Inspire, Innovate and Impact. It really has given us something to build on towards Conference ‘26 as we seek to continually improve what we deliver for members,” stated Goodman.
The BPMA extends its thanks to all speakers and attendees for contributing to a day filled with insight, inspiration, and valuable connections.
