There are numerous arguments for granting haptic advertising and merchandising a high priority in the marketing mix. A new campaign by HAPTICA® – one of the brands of WA Media – is drawing the attention of end users among others in the marketing, purchasing or HR departments of promoting companies and organisations to what the promotional products industry has already known for ages and which has also been scientifically proven for many years.

Under the central slogan “Advertising for REAL”, the campaign makes reference to the physical character that haptic advertising and merchandise owe their high quality, high recall level and credibility to. In the case of the trade show HAPTICA® live the slogan also refers to the standing that live events have for marketing, communication and networking.

Based on the statement “Advertising for REAL”, the campaign-makers list numerous arguments that underline the importance of haptic advertising and merchandising, and which are also outlined in the HAPTICA® Magazine. In collated form, these arguments will be made centrally available in the scope of an eBook, which will be launched at the HAPTICA® live on March 19, 2025 at the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB).

“Our aim behind the ‘Advertising for REAL’ campaign is pursuing the same aim that we have been focusing on for years with the trade show, HAPTICA® live; the HAPTICA® Magazine and the web portal HAPTICA®//ONLINE: We would like to inspire end users for the potential of haptic advertising and contribute towards increasing the share of promotional products and merchandising in the marketing mix,” explained Michael Scherer, managing partner of WA Media. “At the same time, we are offering promotional products suppliers and consultants platforms which make their products and services as visible as possible to the end users.”

With immediate effect, the campaign is being placed in the print publications of WA Media – eppi magazine, WA Nachrichten and HAPTICA® Magazine as well as in their respective newsletters, online and social media portals. Beyond this, advertisements will appear in external, national and international trade media. What’s more, “Advertising for REAL” will also play a significant role at the HAPTICA® live on March 19, 2025 at the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB): Here, numerous arguments in favour of haptic advertising will be literally handed over to the visitors in the form of appropriate products. Every product makes reference to the eBook, which presents all of the arguments and which can both be downloaded live on-site at an infopoint or read online.

“The eBook will subsequently be continually expanded, in the same way that we will surprise the visitors with new convincing haptic media at the coming editions of the HAPTICA® live – because there are many good arguments for haptic advertising and merchandising,” explained Till Barth, Project Manager of the HAPTICA® live. “Anyone, who wants to become familiar with the arguments and at the same time great products, should make sure they come to Bonn on March 19.”
