USA – In 1904, Reinhold Burger invented a drinking vessel in Berlin, whose name is still a synonym for vacuum bottles today: the Thermos flask. On the occasion of his 75th birthday in the year 1941, the inventor Reinhold Burger made the following statement: “I am delighted to know that this invention has proved to be an indispensable tool for millions of people.”
