Dopper MKT DPP CommAsset Visuals 1080x1080px DE 2 - Dopper: Digital product passNL – Dopper already introduced the digital product pass (DPP) on April 9, 2024. The DPP enables the comprehensive documentation of the entire life cycle of a product, from the development through to the end of its service life. The DPP was developed in the scope of the EU Green Deal and will be an obligatory, electronic document for all products on the EU market by 2030, with the exception of foodstuffs, fodder and medicines. It is part of the ecodesign provision for sustainable products (ESPR) and one of the key measures of the action plan for the circular economy (CEAP).

According to own accounts, Dopper is one of the first companies in the promotional products industry to implement a DPP that complies with the data demands of the EU. The company from Haarlem, the Netherlands, that places its focus on motivating people to drink tap water out of reusable bottles, provides the DPP for its entire line-up of bottles and accessories. The DPP allows among other things to call up the CO2 emissions and water consumption arising from the production or information on the care, repair, and recycling of the product. Dopper’s aim behind introducing the DPP is to take a transparent, responsible and honest approach regarding its sustainability efforts. The DPP strives to animate people to interact with the product and promote purchasing decisions as a result of the transparency.
