promoswiss 1 1 - PromoSwiss: General Annual Meeting and personnel changesCH – The General Annual Meeting of the Swiss industry association, PromoSwiss, took place at the end of March at Laufen Castle at Rhine Falls, near Schaffhausen.

The President, Urs Germann, presented a review of the year 2023, which had taken a thoroughly positive course. According to the association, the two trade shows, PSF Forum and Touch, which were held in the late summer of 2023, had both contributed towards this success. The Project Managers of the shows, Tom Oester and René Dubach, have set themselves the goal of further increasing the record attendance of 2023 next year.

According to Ina Klingele, who in her capacity as board member is responsible for marketing, PromoSwiss was able to strengthen its presence on the Swiss market and also even beyond the country’s borders through media coverage – for example in industry trade publications and via social media. Furthermore, six new members joined the association in 2023. PromoSwiss also introduced BeUnity, a new industry app, which serves as a communication platform for its members.
