D – Rastal is delighted at winning a further distinction: The design of the Largo glass, which was developed in collaboration with the company Fachingen Heil- & Mineralbrunnen, has been presented with the renowned Good Design Award. The drinking vessel manufacturer and specialist for glass design asserted itself in the category “Table Top” against 1,100 entries from over 55 countries.
The Good Design Award has been conferred annually by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design since 1950 and honours demanding and innovative design.
The Largo glass was developed in Rastal’s design studio and convinced the jury with its versatility and functionality. The mug is suitable for both usage in the gastronomy sector and as a universal glass for diverse other areas of application. A clear, modern contour and its stability thanks to a thick, solid base turn the item into the ideal choice for professional use. Furthermore, the fine drinking edge and the waisted shape enable a pleasant grip. The large decorative surface offers plenty of room for individual design options.
