PL – This year’s edition of the Promo Show was held at the Expo XXI Event Centre in Warsaw on February 14 and 15. The “International Advertising and Printing Fair”, which suppliers of haptic advertising and customising machines exhibit at, was organised by the Polish publishing company, OOH magazine, which also arranges the Festiwal Marketingu in September.

A high number of visitors poured into the halls just after the show opened, including an international trade audience from Scandinavia, Austria, Italy and Germany. Furthermore, the event, which is only open to legitimated trade visitors, started off as a hotel exhibition in the centre of Warsaw with about 30 exhibitors around 15 years ago, achieved record results this year: “Several exhibitors registered just before the deadline, but we were still able to accommodate them.

Overall we have 270 exhibitors this year, mostly from Poland, but also from many other countries,” confirmed Robert Zalupski, CEO of OOH magazine. The Editor-in-chief of OOH magazine, Katarzyna Lipska-Konieczko, added: “Almost 9,000 trade visitors made their way to us, whereby the number of foreign visitors has doubled. We are particularly happy about this high international interest.”

A representative overview of the market of haptic advertising was offered – the suppliers of promotional products formed the largest share of exhibitors and they exhibited in some cases at very elaborate and impressive stands. The event was accompanied by the “Super Gift” competition, which had its own zone that attracted plenty of attention. The same also applied for the evening event, which ensured that the exhibitors and invited guests were able to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with abundant supplies of food and drinks on the first evening of the show. Video clips with the welcome messages of various international trade show organisers and associations were played during the event, including those of the PSI, HAPTICA® live, ComuniKart, Ippag (International Partnership for Premiums and Gifts) and Aimfap (Asociación de Importadores, Mayoristas, Fabricantes de Artículos Promocionales).

The next edition of the Promo Show is scheduled to take place at the Expo XXI again, on January 29 and 30, 2025.
