The headquarters of Jalema in Reuver, the Netherlands.

DK/F/NL – In the scope of its strategy to strengthen its European position on the promotional products market, the French company, T3L Group, has taken over the Danish company Poul Willumsen through its Dutch subsidiary, Jalema. Poul Willumsen has been producing and selling gift items made of plastic, such as key fobs and piggy banks for the European, North American and Japanese markets for over 40 years.

With locations in Denmark, France, the Netherlands and the USA, according to own accounts, the T3L Group is a “global family of local manufacturers”, that specialises in the processing of foils and cardboards as well as in injection moulding and printing. With its brand djois®, the group that was founded in 2008, is one of the leading global players in the area of B2B goods for the workplace and disposes of in-depth know-how in the field of personalisable items and OEM products.

“Since Jalema is a full-service production company with strong expertise in injection moulding and knowledge of sustainable materials, this move will bring significant strategic and operational synergies between the Poul Willumsen business and the other business areas of Jalema and the T3L Group worldwide,” Loet van de Kimmenade, the Managing Director of Jalema, reported. Kim Berg, CEO of the T3L Group, added: “For both our branded and non-branded activities this acquisition not only represents great business opportunities, but it is also another important reinforcement of the industrial excellence and market leadership that our customers praise. I would like to thank Bo Willumsen for giving us the opportunity to expand the business that his family founded.”

Poul Willumsen’s entire machinery is currently being relocated to the premises of Jalema in Reuver, the Netherlands. According to the T3L Group, the deliveries, sales and customer service activities will remain intact to the full extent during the move and no interruptions are expected.
