D – Bernd Weisenhorn, who has been employed at Sweetware since mid-2023, was appointed Commercial Director in November 2023. He succeeds Michael Ruf, who is retiring. The Managing Director of Sweetware, Sandor Kiss, bid farewell to his long-time colleague and thanked him for his twelve year-long service to the company. Sandor stated that due to his competence and relaxed manner, Ruf had been an important part of the team and had decisively co-shaped Sweetware.

“So that a smooth transition is guaranteed, there was an intensive hand-over phase, allowing the new Commercial Director to familiarise himself with his new area of tasks. Weisenhorn has the necessary qualifications and experience to occupy the position. We are particularly pleased that we were able to win over somebody from the region,” commented Lars Göppert, who works in the Sales & Marketing department at Sweetware. Weisenhorn was previously employed in the medical technology and wine industries.
