D – The writing instrument manufacturer Staedtler is changing its name: As of January 1, 2024, Staedtler Mars GmbH & Co. KG will be operating as Staedtler SE.
Johann Sebastian Staedtler, who is considered to be the inventor of the coloured pencil, laid the foundation for today’s group in 1835. According to own accounts, today Staedtler is the largest European manufacturer of wooden pencils, universal pens and modelling clays as well as the global leader for industry clay. Around two thirds of all Staedtler products are produced in Germany.
All contracts, legal relations, the general terms and conditions as well as the sales and delivery conditions retain their validity in unchanged form. In the course of the universal succession, Staedtler SE assumes all rights and obligations from all contractual and other legal relations assigned to the operating business of Staedtler Mars GmbH & Co. KG. The address, bank details, contact addresses and contact persons are not affected by the name change either.
