Schneider Managing Director Christian Schneider and Pooja Jain Gupta, Managing Director of Luxor, signed a cooperation agreement in New Delhi in March 2023.
D/IND – The German company, Schneider Schreibgeräte, signed a cooperation agreement with the Indian writing instrument manufacturer, Luxor Writing Instruments, in March 2023. Today, the family business that was founded by Shri D. K. Jain in 1963, is run by Pooja Jain Gupta, who in her capacity as Managing Director is carrying on the company of her deceased father. The firm has its own series of writing instruments and specialises in the licensed production of items of famous brands for the Indian market.
The cooperation encompasses the sales of the “made in Germany” Schneider brand range as well as the licensed production of selected Schneider products for exclusive sale on the Indian market, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Furthermore, Schneider delivers system components from the domestic production, which are built into the products of Luxor. Posted skilled staff are to secure the high quality demands in the locally-produced Schneider products.
According to a statement by Schneider Schreibgeräte, the strategic partnership unites Luxor’s brand value, production know-how and sales strength as well as its deep understanding of the Indian market with the technological know-how and high-quality product range of Schneider. The cooperation grants the company extended access to one of the largest and most attractive consumer markets.
