WA Media, the organiser of the Promotional Gift Award 2022, has reacted to the problematic supply chain situation by extending the entry deadline by one week. Companies from the advertising industry, advertising agencies, promotional products suppliers and distributors now have the opportunity to submit their products and campaigns for the renowned communication prize for haptic advertising up until December 3.
Two of the 46 elated winners of the Promotional Gift Award 2021: ID Sneakers (l) won an award for their Sneakers edition for Schweppes and Josera picked up a prize for the haptic elements of its animal photo campaign.
The five jury members – Jens Bräunig (VfB Stuttgart), Michael Mätzener (diewerbeartikelgmbh), Michael Scherer (WA Media), Michael Witzorrek (Fendt) and Martin Zettl (markeding) – will then come together on December 13 and 14 to discuss the entries and award their respective points. Distinctions will be awarded in the categories Give-aways, Premium Products, Communicative Products, Custom-made Designs, Merchandising, Best Practice and Customising Technologies, whereby the number of winners is determined by the overall amount of points allocated, which means several products or campaigns can be distinguished per category.
In addition to fame and the opportunity to use the prestigious logo as a means of advertising, the winners of the Promotional Gift Award also benefit from a tangible PR advantage: All winners namely receive wide coverage in the trade publications of WA Media (inter alia eppi magazine and Werbeartikel Nachrichten), which corresponds to a media value of over 3,000 Euros. Furthermore, the award-winning items will all be showcased in an exhibition at the HAPTICA® live on March 16, 2022 at the World Conference Center Bonn.
