F – The 13th edition of the Premium Sourcing was held on September 6-7, 2023 amid beautiful sunshine and summer temperatures. The location was once again the Carrousel du Louvre in the heart of the French capital, Paris. The event serves as a platform for the year-end business, as a meeting point for suppliers and distributors – only the latter are allowed to attend – and with its exclusive lectures and workshops as a forum for market trends and developments. For instance in the lobby area of the trade fair, the exhibitors were also given the opportunity to rely on professional support to make a short video introducing their innovations.

“At 130, the number of exhibitors is slightly higher this year,” confirmed Pierre Mirlit from the organisers, Infopro Digital Trade Shows (656 Éditions), a subsidiary of the Infopro Digital Group. The exhibitors included both large, internationally-operating full-range stockists and suppliers as well as experts for specific product groups, who were represented on their own exhibition zone entitled “Les Spécialistes”. The French association 2fpco (Fédération Française des Professionnels de la Communication par l’Objet) also showed a strong presence.

The official attendance figure was not available at the time of going to press, but the event was evidently particularly well-attended on the first day of the show. The business discussions at the stands were continued in a relaxed atmosphere in the evening of the first day of the show while enjoying free champagne, wine, soft drinks and snacks.

The next edition of Premium Sourcing is scheduled to take place on September 18 and 19, 2024, once again at the Carrousel de Louvre.
