CH/I/NL – Several members of the Dutch industry association, PPP (Promotional Products Professionals), set off on a three-day study trip to Italy and Switzerland from May 31 – June 2, 2023. For the 27 participants from the association that has around 200 members in total, a visit to several production locations of Pagani Pens, the manufacturer of Prodir ballpoint pens, was on the agenda. Among others one of the plants was located near to Lugano in Switzerland. Further site tours followed on the third day before all of the participants went their separate ways again. According to the PPP, the feedback to the organised trip was extremely positive and many of the participants requested that this kind of event should be repeated.
At Prodir the participants of the trip organised by the industry association, PPP, learned valuable facts about the company’s ballpoint production and marketing activities.
The association is taking a further step in the direction of conveying know-how and professionalising the industry by publishing a reference book on the topic of promotional products. The compendium, which was compiled by the members of the PPP and is exclusively available to association members, is to serve as a reference book for experienced colleagues and as an ideal medium for the onboarding process of newcomers to the industry.
