NL – The Plato Group has bought the Interall Group. The product range of the Interall Group, the WoW Sustainable Collection, will in future enhance the line-up of Clipper Gifts, one of the brands of the Plato Group. According to own accounts, both parties hope to further strengthen their activities in the field of sustainability through the cooperation.
“Interall Group’s proposition fits very well with Plato Group’s strategy of becoming a leading supplier of sustainable products with its brands,” said Ton Lobker, CEO of Plato Group. “Sustainable, circular products will play an increasingly more important role in our industry and contribute to a better world, the Plato Group wants to be a forerunner in this.” Furthermore, the strategy harmonises well with the social commitment of the Plato Group, which in the scope of the Plato Group Foundation has been supporting various charity organisations such as Doctors Without Borders, Mercy Ships, the Salvation Army or the Liliane Foundation for years. The Plato Group Foundation, formerly initiated by the founder of IGO-Post, Martien Jonkers, holds 85% of the Plato Group shares.
