Aneta Niciak
PL – After the resignation of the board member, Aneta Kamińska (Salon Reklamy), the executive board of the Polish industry association, PIAP, has decided that the board member Aneta Niciak (Refloactive) is to take over the function of Vice Chairman with immediate effect. At the elections for the new board that were held during the association’s General Annual Assembly on May 20, 2022 in Wadowice, Poland, Niciak received 39 votes, which was the fourth best result. Jacek Kozłowski (Guapa Produkcja) was elected as President of the association.
In total, 170 member companies from the Polish promotional products industry are currently organised under the PIAP. These include international organisations with representative offices in Poland, family businesses, advertising agencies, well-known brands from the consumer goods and technology industry as well as innovative start-ups. According to the association, due to the growing demand on the Single Market and increased exports, Western European countries have a dynamic image of the Polish market. In a survey on the mood within the industry commissioned by the PIAP in 2022, over two thirds of the companies interviewed stated that the demand for their services and products had increased in comparison to the record year 2019. The know-how and innovative strength of the Polish printing and sewing shops as well as the relatively low labour costs are important factors that promote Poland’s competitiveness for foreign countries.
