Pandinavia Summit 1 - Pandinavia Summit: “Be a Pioneer”CH – Pandinavia invited guests to the Pandinavia Summit in Hall 550 in Zurich-Oerlikon on May 24, 2023 under the motto “Be a Pioneer”. In the place where turbines and locomotives used to be manufactured, 85 haptic advertising suppliers presented their products and services to the organiser’s customers. Pandinavia is one of the leading Swiss promotional products agencies and as a member of the international alliance Ippag (International Partnership for Premiums and Gifts) and a shareholder of the alliance’s joint venture Prominate also disposes of an extensive, international network.

The according to own accounts largest Swiss trade show for branded merchandise placed a strong focus on sustainable products and concepts: The exhibitors included many suppliers of ecological materials and production methods – from sneakers “made in Spain”, to notebooks made from the leftovers of apples, through to items made from ocean plastic. Beyond this, many Swiss brands and manufacturers and several young, literally “pioneering” start-ups were represented.

Sustainability and a pioneering spirit also played a role in the star-studded lecture programme, which proved to be one of the main reasons why a lot of visitors decided to visit the show: The keynote speech of the Swiss psychiatrist, Bertrand Piccard, who was the first person to travel around the globe in a balloon non-stop in 1999 and who completed a further trip around the world in a solar airplane around 15 years later.

Pandinavia demonstrated its competence as a creative service provider by presenting its many product collections which the company had realised for various, renowned customers on a special zone. The concept of the event was implemented professionally and consistently too – from the invitation mailing containing branded socks, to large surface visuals displaying the event CI, through to the astronaut overalls that identified the Pandinavia team.

In total, 500 visitors – including also several international guests – followed the invitation to “Be a Pioneer” and attended the summit, which was brought to a close towards the evening with drinks and a DJ. A result that not only Kaspar Benz, Managing Director of Pandinavia, and his team were highly satisfied with. Many of the exhibitors praised the frequency and high quality of the visitors from the marketing and procurement segments.
