In collaboration with the climate protection agency, ClimatePartner, Know How International has reviewed its Hirschau location and it was ultimately assessed as being climate-neutral. Thanks to good, technical preconditions – i.e. a photo voltaic plant and the implementation of geothermal heat – the company was already well-aligned to this end. However, unavoidable emissions do occur, for example through the employees’ journeys to work. Know How International compensates for these emissions through reforestation projects in Germany as well as projects on the theme of “plastic-free oceans”.
