The HAPTICA® live ’22 scheduled for March 16, 2022 at the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB) has been postponed until September 6, 2022. The reason is the once again unstable situation due to the Corona pandemic, which makes it difficult for organisers and exhibitors to plan live events.

“The incidence rates are rising very strongly at the moment and unfortunately the pandemic is causing insecurity again this winter. For example, many big companies have already imposed travel bans for the first quarter of 2022. It is currently hardly possible to know to what extent the pandemic will still affect us in March. However, we want the tenth edition of HAPTICA® live to satisfy our high quality demands,” stated Michael Scherer, CEO of the organisers, WA Media. “That is why we have decided to postpone the event at an early stage – in close coordination with the WCCB and other trade show organisers from the industry – to give all persons involved greater planning security. The new venue date for the ‘Experience of Haptic Advertising’ on September 6, 2022 doesn’t clash with any other major promotional products trade fair in the D-A-CH region and lies favourably in the autumn season.”

Till Barth, Project Manager of the HAPTICA® live, added: “We came to the conclusion that the advantages of a postponement outweighed the disadvantages for all parties involved. The past two editions of the HAPTICA® live, which both had to be postponed to the late summer because of the pandemic, prove that the ‘Experience of Haptic Advertising’ also works well in the second half of the year. We are now setting our focus on September 6 and on an eventful tenth edition.”
