Vera Chambers
D – The FOL International GmbH is reorganising its design team at the Kaiserslautern location: With immediate effect, the designer Vera Chambers is responsible for the European design and product development of the two brands Fruit of the Loom and Russell Europe.
Chambers’ tasks include the creative direction of all design processes – ranging from the initial idea for a product, through to the optimisation of existing products. She will particularly engage in a close exchange with the production team at the own production site in Morocco during the development stage of new designs to further push the development of new fabrics, colours, styles and fits. Furthermore, the designer will work closely together with the European sales team to ensure design development that satisfies the customers’ needs.
Chambers falls back on over 16 years of experience in the fashion industry. She has been working for FOL International since the beginning of 2022 and was previously employed as a freelance designer for various fashion brands. “It is the combination between decades of tradition and quality that appeals to me at Fruit of the Loom and Russell Europe. I look forward to shaping and developing the diverse product portfolio with my focus on innovative and sustainable solutions,” Chambers commented.
