NL – Liselotte Leijten-Deppenbroek, COO of Pinkcube, the Doetinchem-based company that specialises in eCommerce with promotional products, has been appointed as “European eCommerce Business Personality of the Year”. Pinkcube also came under the finalists for the title “European B2B eCommerce Website of the Year”. The announcement was made during a virtual publication of the European eCommerce Awards 2023. The awards are conferred annually to outstanding websites and eCommerce platforms, but also to software, campaigns, agencies and teams of the online trade. The international expert jury, which assessed the entries following a two-phase evaluation process, comprised of experts from among others companies like Airbnb, Hugo Boss and Zara.

According to own accounts, Leijten-Deppenbroek, who was previously a member of Google‘s sales management, strives to face every challenge at Pinkcube. She stated that as the turnover figures declined during the COVID pandemic, the team was subsequently reduced from 33 employees down to twelve in the course of restructuration measures. However, in the meantime the company is thriving again. “Switching quickly, tackling and resilience are the driving forces behind growth. It requires adaptability from employees to switch from growth to reorganisation and back to enormous growth. Thanks to the flexibility and ambition of the team, we got through this well,” stated Leijten-Deppenbroek.
