“After two years of the pandemic, we have made an incredible comeback for the global consumer goods world with an overwhelming level of participation and internationality. Frankfurt has further reinforced its position as the leading event and is the comprehensive inspiration, ordering and networking venue. Our new one-stop-shop concept works,” stated Detlef Braun, Managing Director of Frankfurt Exhibition Centre.

At the Ambiente the segments Dining, Living and Giving were expanded to include the new exhibition section Working, which focuses on modern working worlds. The Christmasworld impressed the industry with seasonal eye-catchers and festive decorations, whilst the Creativeworld placed the emphasis on the ongoing DIY boom. According to the organisers, 70% of the visitors came from abroad. The participating nations that were most strongly represented alongside Germany, were Italy, France, the Netherlands, the USA, Great Britain, Spain, Turkey, Switzerland, Greece and Poland. As well as the German and international specialised retail trade, the event also attracted international bulk buyers like Amazon, Galeries Lafayette, KaDeWe, Museum of Modern Art and Staples. Furthermore, according to the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre, important distributors of hotel and restaurant supplies from all over the globe as well as hotel chains such as Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels also attended the show.

The supporting programme offered valuable impulses in the form of special presentations, lectures, workshops and guided tours, which prompted the visitors to engage in an exchange on themes such as sustainability, new work, design, lifestyle, future retail and the digital expansion of trade.

The Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld will continue to be co-staged at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre in the future. The next venue date is scheduled to take place at the end of January 2024.
