NL – According to own accounts, Clipper Interall is the first company in the promotional products sector to label promotional gifts with a universal sustainability seal. To this end, the company that belongs to the Plato Group is collaborating with the sustainability platform, the Global Sustainable Enterprise System (GSES), which implements globally acknowledged standards to assess and rate the sustainability performance of companies, organisations, supply chains, projects and products. The universal sustainability standard is based on over 560 sustainability labels and quality seals for manufacturers, suppliers and consumers.

“Clipper Interall is committed to providing promotional products with a minimal environmental impact. Their products are manufactured in compliance with strict ethical standards and meet the highest European safety standards,” Ruben van’t Loo, the CCO of Clipper Interall, stated. “The partnership with GSES allows us to have our collection independently assessed for sustainability based on the pillars that are important to us.” The founder and CEO of GSES, Kelly Ruigrok, added: “Clipper is the first major importer and supplier to choose our sustainability standard. We recently welcomed major retailers such as Wibra and Xenos, so this is a great addition for the promotional gift market. Thanks to the cooperation, with immediate effect Clipper’s customers will be able to see at a glance how sustainable the promotional gifts they choose from the importer’s line-up are based on different criteria.
