D – “(Y)Our favourite Choice” was the motto of this year’s Press Brunch of the JCK subsidiaries Daiber, Fare, Halfar, Karlowsky, mbw and SND that was held on November 9, 2023 at the premises of Fare. The motto was a very appropriate title for the event, as the aim was on the one hand to present favourite pieces from the respective line-ups, and on the other hand to make it clear why each of the six specialists in their corresponding product segment should be among the favourite choices of every promotional product consultant.
The host, Volker Griesel, Managing Director of Fare, welcomed the attendees and first of all showed a film of employees from the Choice subsidiaries presenting their respective favourite from the line-up of their employer. This placed the focus on the people and the products demonstrating appreciation for the employees. He then handed over to the Managing Director of Daiber, Kai Gminder. Gminder not only presented new highlights from the extensive textile collection, but also gave a review of the successful EAP changeover. Niels Karlowsky, Managing Director of the work and catering wear specialist, Karlowsky Fashion, clearly demonstrated once again that functionality and a fashionable outfit can go hand in hand. Sleeve holders and braces lend a touch of retro flair, denim aprons, shirts and blouses cover all the needs of the stylish appearance of catering employees.
Volker Griesel and Fare’s Sales Director, Günter Schmidt, presented the highly successful “Protective Umbrella For Children” campaign, which unites the aspects of bestowing gifts and donating. Furthermore, the new catalogue concept foresees a significant simplification of the customising prices. Parasols are going to form an important part of next year’s range. For its new bag creations Halfar – represented by Managing Director, Armin Halfar, and Sales Director, Jens Brand – is placing the emphasis on practicality, durability and sustainability. New fashionable colours among the collections and the expansion of the “Made in Europe” series are characteristic of this claim. SND’s Managing Director, Silke Eckstein, went through a number of possibilities of elaborate cup designs based on a fictitious customer, which – according to the claim – turn promotional mugs into the recipient’s favourite cup. Last, but not least Jan Breuer, Managing Director of mbw, and Helge Petersen, Marketing Director, presented their Service Campaign for 2024, and with the aid of a film showed the efficient logistics in the main warehouse, presented toys for cats and delighted everyone with the lovable newcomers to their line-up of cuddly toys, rubber ducks and Squeezies friends.
