F – Originally planned for the beginning of February 2022 and then postponed due to the Corona pandemic, the CTCO Lyon was finally able to greet the promotional products and textile industry at the Eurexpo in Lyon from March 15-17, 2022. This year the trade show was held in two separate halls that were connected to each other by a pedestrian bridge. According to the official figures, over 260 exhibitors from more than 15 countries took part in this year’s edition of the CTCO – including 50 first-time exhibitors – and overall, they presented their latest products and services to 6,833 trade visitors. According to the organisers, 656 Éditions, the exhibitors praised the quality of the visitors as well as the number of potential new customers, who showed interest in their collections.
The supporting programme included nine fashion shows, a conference programme and the Print Lab, which highlighted customising techniques. Innovations were exhibited in the trade fair zone “Must” and the visitors were able to vote for the promotional products of the year. The winner: Passot Innovation with its designer loudspeaker lamp. Furthermore, so-called speed demos were held for the first time, in the course of which around 30 exhibitors were filmed presenting a product of their choice to the trade fair audience. The presentations can be called up at any time on the YouTube channel of the CTCO. Last, but not least two bar areas enabled the visitors to engage in a social exchange. “The media object industry finally came together at CTCO to share, exchange and learn. A great success and a perfect timing considering the recent events! I would like to warmly thank the 656 Éditions team for its perseverance and the entire organisation,” commented Antony Villeger, President of the French industry association, 2fpco (Fédération Française des Professionnels de la Communication par l’Objet).
The C!Print is scheduled to take place at the Eurexpo in Lyon from May 10-12, 2022. In 2023, the CTCO and the C!Print will then be staged parallel again, namely in Lyon from January 31 to February 2.
