D – The Marburg-based, public listed company, NanoRepro, which specialises in preventive healthcare, rapid diagnostics and the strategic expansion of complementary business areas within the health and lifestyle sectors, has increased its voting stake from 43.72% up to 50.24% in Deutsche Kosmetikwerke (which includes the newkee brand). NanoRepro holds this stake both as a direct participation and through its subsidiary, Paedi Protect.
By exceeding the 50 percent level, NanoRepro has crossed the threshold required for full consolidation. This change follows an agreement with Angelique Kerber, a founding shareholder of Deutsche Kosmetikwerke, to acquire approximately 5.7% of the company’s share capital, alongside an additional acquisition of roughly 0.8% from another shareholder.
NanoRepro is consolidating its production and procurement structures for the skincare segment under Paedi Protect. This foundation is beneficial for newkee, providing the brand with integrated distribution channels and access to brick-and-mortar retail.
As of 2027, the two top-selling products will be available from the online shop. Then, at the end of March 2027 – just in time for the start of the sun-care season – Paedi Protect and newkee will launch a joint retail presence, featuring dedicated in-store displays and product presentation areas. Angelique Kerber, who co-founded Deutsche Kosmetikwerke alongside Manuel Neuer and Paedi Protect, will remain an active brand ambassador for newkee during 2028, continuing to drive the brand’s awareness via social media and various content formats.
