A –The terry cloth brand, Vossen, based in Jennersdorf, Austria, has been honoured with the German Brand Award in the category Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation – Brand Communication – Brand Events. The jury recognised the outstanding brand management during the company’s 100th anniversary celebrations, as well as the event concept, which presented the brand’s history in an innovative and emotionally engaging way.
The centrepiece of the campaign was the emotional, generational concept “Vossen inspires for a lifetime,” which Vossen used to further accentuate its focus on quality “Made in Austria” – for customers of all ages.
For the anniversary gala, held at the company’s production site in Jennersdorf, Austria, a bleak industrial hall was transformed into a sensual dream world that brought Vossen’s characteristic materials to life. The textile architecture created an atmosphere of comfort, elegance and lightness, translating the company’s brand values into an emotional space. A specially developed show then whisked guests off on a journey through the past 100 years, linking historical milestones, social developments and design trends with Vossen’s corporate history.
Winning the German Brand Award confirms that the terry cloth brand is on the right track in terms of authentically communicating brand values such as responsibility, regionality, and aesthetics. “We are delighted with this recognition. The German Brand Award demonstrates that our strategic brand work and our innovative strength are also being recognised internationally,” commented Michael Unger, Managing Director for Marketing and Sales at Vossen.
