According to official sources, 95,000 visitors attended the seven co-staged trade fairs.

CN – The Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair – one of seven lifestyle and licensing trade fairs organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) – was staged at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from April 27-30, 2026. According to the official figures, a total of 95,000 visitors (2025: 100,000) from 134 countries and regions travelled to the city. 32,000 people attended the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair alone. The Home InStyle, Fashion InStyle, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, as well as the Hong Kong International Licensing Show and the Asian Licensing Conference were held parallel to the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair.

The HKTDC conducted a survey among 1,541 exhibitors and visitors during the Gifts & Premium, Home InStyle and Fashion InStyle fairs to assess the latest trends in the lifestyle products market more accurately. According to the survey, 49% of the respondents anticipate that their total sales will increase over the next one to two years, while 44.6% expect sales to remain stable. The greatest operational challenges cited were global economic fluctuations (47.8%), conflict-related crises –  such as geopolitical tensions, energy and food insecurity as well as supply chain disruptions – (37.2%) and rising protectionist measures (33.7%). The respondents rated sales prospects for the next two years as promising or very promising in ASEAN countries (69.0%), Taiwan (67.9%), India (66.7%), Korea (65.2%) and mainland China (63.0%).

The markets that the interviewed exhibitors are actively tapping into include Europe (34.0%), ASEAN countries (18.3%), North America (16.0%), the Middle East (13.6%) and Australia (12.8%). Within the gifts and promotional products market, the respondents identified the greatest growth potential in the categories of cultural items (19.7%), sustainable products (18.6%) and tech-related items (18.6%).

A survey was carried out among visitors and exhibitors at the Gifts & Premium, Home InStyle and Fashion InStyle.

The United Arab Emirates celebrated its debut at the Gifts & Premium Fair this year. Mohamed Alayat, founder of the Dubai-based exhibitor, Alpha Art, stated: “We established contacts with around 40 new clients from Asia, Europe, the United States and Africa on the very first day alone and received enquiries for customised products. We anticipate receiving potential orders totalling approximately 1 million US Dollars during the fair.”

The Gifts & Premium Fair also underlined Hong Kong’s role as an international trading hub connecting markets worldwide. The Shanxi Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Fujian Sub-council of the CCPIT each signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with the HKTDC to encourage companies from Shanxi and Fujian to leverage Hong Kong’s platform for global expansion, while simultaneously further strengthening their trade ties with Hong Kong.

Furthermore, the Busan Economic Promotion Agency signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the HKTDC to promote gift items from Busan, Korea, on international markets via Hong Kong’s platform, thus unleashing new business opportunities for companies in the giftware industry in both Hong Kong and Korea.
