A – The according to own accounts world’s largest privately held, family-owned promotional products distributor, Geiger, which is headquartered in Lewiston, USA, has acquired the business operations of Nowak Werbeartikel in Austria.
This strategic move marks a significant milestone in Geiger’s international growth and further strengthens its presence in Europe. “The acquisition is an important step for Geiger’s continued global expansion and simultaneously reinforces our presence in Europe,” explained David Geiger, President of Geiger. “Nowak Werbeartikel brings a solid foundation of customer relationships and local market knowledge. We are very pleased to welcome the team to Geiger and build on its success.”
Thomas Derhaschnig, Managing Director of Nowak, commented: “Following Geiger’s acquisition of WER GmbH, a long-standing Nowak partner in Germany, in 2024, I closely followed its development and regularly exchanged views with the management team led by Alex, Marc and Mirco. It quickly became clear that Geiger shares the same values and culture that have made us so successful in Austria.”
The Vienna-based company, which has built a strong reputation for quality and service since being founded in 1970, will now operate as Geiger on the Austrian market. All employees will be retained and Thomas Derhaschnig will continue to head the business.
