Proudly presenting the EcoVadis silver medal for Giving Europe: The new Business Unit Manager DACH, Hanna Hink-Greenaway.
NL – As Giving Europe announced in January 2026, the full-range stockist that is based in Tiel, the Netherlands, has been awarded with the EcoVadis silver rating for its consistent commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices – in its very first year of participation. The company submitted itself to the international sustainability rating for the first time and received the silver status.
Through the targeted further development of internal processes and the introduction of clear guidelines in the areas Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement, Giving Europe was able to measurably improve its sustainability performance. Transparent structures and documentation and the continual monitoring of all measures were the key success factors, according to Giving Europe. The distinction confirms the chosen path and also serves as an incentive: Giving Europe has set its sights on the gold status as the next goal for this year.
“The fact that we achieved the silver status in our very first year makes me incredibly proud of our entire team. Sustainability is not a trend for us, it is a clear approach. Gold is now our next target – and we will work on this every day to achieve our goal,” stated Hanna Hink-Greenaway, new Business Unit Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) at Giving Europe.
