D – Vonmählen has officially been B-Corp-certified since August 2025. B-Corp is composed of the letter “B” for “Benefit for all” and “Corp“ for “Corporation“ and distinguishes companies that assert themselves for value added towards the environment and society.
The certificate is conferred by B Lab Global – an international organisation that assesses the companies on the basis of their performance in five key areas. These include corporate management, employees, customers, environment and community. The tech lifestyle company from Northern Germany achieved an overall score of 93.7 points in the B-Impact assessment carried out. According to B Lab Global the average sustainability score for companies is currently 50.9, the minimum requirement for a B-Corp certification is 80 points.
“This certificate is more than just a label. It reflects our deep commitment towards sustainability and responsibility in all areas of our company – from corporate management and transparency, through to the ecological and social impact,” according to Vonmählen. “With our score we are among the top performers in our industry – and this reinforces us in our strive to continue improving.”
