D – The Schalfabrik.de platform aims to tap into the international markets with an English-language offer. The company from Germany has been individualising textile accessories made from silk, wool, modal, polyester and cupro since 2012. Schalfabrik.de embellishes scarves and shawls to meet its customers’ requirements. The items are manufactured in specialised textile printing shops in India and Italy using digital printing methods.
Schalfabrik.de is primarily addressing the European market with its portal www.scarfs-on-demand.com in response to the many enquiries received from EU countries, Switzerland and Great Britain. Over the coming months versions of the web shop in further languages are to go online, initially in French, Spanish and Italian.
As well as expanding linguistically, the line-up is to be enhanced by goods sold by the metre. Products made from wool/silk and wool/cashmere blends are to follow in the late summer.
