CZ – The promotional products agency, MVIA, which maintains its headquarters in Měnín, won a global logistics tender from Brown-Forman in July 2026 for the distribution of merchandising and POS materials. The company, which has been active in the development, design, production and procurement of merchandising items since 1992, has entered into a cooperation agreement with the global Brown-Forman Group.
Brown-Forman is one of the world’s leading companies in the spirits industry and owns brands such as the Jack Daniel’s family, New Mix, el Jimador and Glenglassaugh.
The Czech company aims to help unify order and payment processing as well as the logistics and distribution management of merchandising and POS materials in Europe, Africa, and Asia, while simultaneously optimising the collaboration between the regional and local teams via its Mvia Hub platform.
“Brown-Forman is not only an important partner for us because of its size and demanding supply chain requirements. This collaboration allows us to fully leverage the comprehensive corporate functions of the Mvia Hub platform to support complex, multi-regional fulfilment workflows. Projects like this help us demonstrate the robustness of our solutions on a truly multinational scale,” explained, Jiří Smejkal, CEO of Mvia.
In the first phase of the cooperation, the focus lies on transferring and managing the inventories of merchandising items and POS materials, as well as order fulfilment and distribution to the participating regions. During this phase, MVIA will provide logistic support for 16 brands across various product categories. The second phase involves the further development of the MVIA Hub platform and the introduction of so-called “buying windows,” while Brown-Forman continues to independently manage and retain control over all procurement, tendering and supplier selection functions.
“Merchandising items and POS materials are of great importance to our market strategy. As we are expanding our collaboration across different regions, we need a solution that offers clarity, reliability and practical implementation for both our regional and local teams. Partnering with MVIA and integrating MVIA Hub allows us to standardise operations, streamline the ordering process and seamlessly coordinate every step from warehousing to final delivery, while maintaining a completely independent and competitive internal procurement environment,” Valentina Schiavoni, Director – Regional Procurement & POS Europe, Africa & Asia Pacific at Brown-Forman, commented.
