D –Troika, a Müschenbach-based supplier of gift items and innovative lifestyle products, has been awarded the International Travel BookAward (ITBA) 2026 for its Juri City Light Flex Globe. The award pays tribute to current national and international tourism publications each year, based on independent research. Its aim is to raise awareness across national borders for the wide spectrum of travel and tourism and to broaden perspectives on planet Earth within its universal context through significant works.
Troika’s globe impressed the jury with its depiction of population density, using several luminous spots to mark the Earth’s metropolitan areas. The jury also highlighted the three-dimensional relief of the Earth’s surface, which depicts mountains and mountain ranges, making the Earth’s topography visible and tangible. The globe is not only an eye-catcher in terms of its design, it is also a symbol of the interconnectedness of our world, a shining reminder that everything on this planet is related to each other, according to the cartography and globe experts.
