D – The bag specialist, Joytex, has appointed a new co-Managing Director: Pascal Mölders, who returned to the family business in August 2024 after completing his master’s degree and working in management consulting, is now joining his mother, Katja Übbing, as part of the management team.
Mölders was initially employed as Project Manager for Strategic Corporate Development, overseeing numerous projects. His tasks encompassed the conceptual realignment and relaunch of the online shop, extensive internal process optimisations (including the digitalisation and automation of production processes using robotics), and the strategic further development of the brand and product portfolio.
“I am incredibly proud to be leading and developing Joytex into the third generation as a family business, together with my mother. As Managing Director, I will strive to further strengthen Joytex’s brand presence and its position as the expert for promotional bags in German-speaking countries, while simultaneously driving international growth. Together with existing and planned investments in our German location, we aim to continue growing with our team here in Rhede, creating first-class products in Germany in collaboration with our customers and supporting them as a reliable, family-oriented partner for the long term,” said Mölders.
