CH – The 83rd General Assembly of the Swiss industry association, PromoSwiss, was held in Rheinfelden at Feldschlösschen Getränke AG in April. The meeting focused on personal exchange, strategic development and future-oriented association projects.
Urs Germann, President of the PromoSwiss Association, opened the meeting with a personal and insightful report. Germann provided an overview of the current industry developments, identified key challenges and outlined concrete perspectives.
In the scope of the subsequent elections, the General Assembly confirmed the strategic development of the Board by appointing two new members for the International Associations & Projects division. With their international experience and in-depth industry knowledge, José A. Martinez from Sigg and Salvatore Sangiorgio from reisenthel will strengthen PromoSwiss’ global network and project expertise.
One of the key topics at the meeting was the further development of the PromoSwiss app and the central platform, beUnity. Parallel to this, the association is expanding its continuing spectrum of education offers and is holding four practical webinars that centre on the digital world. The content is current, relevant and specifically tailor-made to the challenges facing the industry.
In addition, topics such as vocational training, marketing & communications and upcoming industry events were also highlighted. As usual, supplier partners were invited to present their product highlights.
After the official formalities had been completed, the participants enjoyed an exclusive brewery tour followed by a beer tasting and pretzel apéro. The event concluded with a convivial dinner, which provided ample opportunity for a personal exchange, networking and stimulating discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
