UK – The family business, Result Clothing, was founded 30 years ago in UK-Colchester to provide the decoration, uniform and advertising industries with high-quality outdoor clothes from stock. Based on his 20 years of experience in the production of clothes, the Managing Director, David Sanders-Smith, set off with a small team in 1994 and the aim of designing ten models based on the templates of tailor-made patterns from his archive. A year later Result Clothing started trading with three distributors.
The core team from the early days is still with the company today, whereby the headcount has expanded strongly under the direction of Sara Sanders-Smith, the founder’s daughter. In the meantime, Result Clothing sells five brands with 5,800 article numbers and 300 products for among others outdoor, work and leisure time activities as well as corporate fashion items.
Functional fabrics are implemented for the development of new styles; the British company additionally places great importance on manifold customising options. Result Clothing relies on a personal customer service, electronic ordering options, large warehouse capacities and a European logistics network to ensure proximity to the customer.
