DSC06028 - Cybergroup BeachCup 2025: Sport meets communityThis year’s BeachCup, organised by Cybergroup, near Mannheim, impressively demonstrated how much energy, solidarity and commitment prevails within the European promotional products industry. The traditional BeachCup, that originally began as a sports-themed summer festival has since evolved into an industry-wide flagship event that was staged from June 13-15, this year.

Amid midsummer temperatures of 36 degrees Celsius, over 300 guests from across Europe gathered at the BeachCup grounds to experience a day full of emotions, sporting ambition and an intense exchange. A total of 94 beach volleyball matches were played over the course of eight hours on several courts. 27 highly motivated teams competed against each other, fuelled by an exhilarating atmosphere and the unwavering determination to collectively set a strong example for the industry.

The semi-finals were characterised by fairness, team spirit and great commitment. Ultimately, the Zogi Barracudas secured first place. Second place went to the Inspirion Sandkastenfreunde, followed by Atlantis Fioi (Master Italia) in third place.

DSC06076 - Cybergroup BeachCup 2025: Sport meets communityA special highlight was the inaugural Tour de Promo powered by Prodir. A team of cyclists set off on Wednesday morning to complete a route comprising of around 200 km within two days. This sporting achievement symbolises the endurance, determination and solidarity that characterises the BeachCup, the organisers stated. Following its successful launch this year, the Tour de Promo is set to expand in 2026. Anyone interested in participating in this initiative can register now without obligation.

In addition, social engagement was also at the top of the list of priorities. In cooperation with the DKMS (German society for stem cell donations against leukaemia), a registration event was held on site. Over 100 people registered as potential stem cell donors. This set a strong example of solidarity and social responsibility.

A lively Players’ Night, which went on till the early hours of the morning, formed the festive conclusion of the Tour. The event offered numerous opportunities for personal exchange, networking as well as the shared experience of a special industry event.

The planning for the next edition in 2026 has already begun. The goal is to keep up this special spirit and inspire even more people, according to the organisers.
