CH – The foundation Werbestatistik Schweiz (Swiss advertising statistics) determined the advertising expenditure for the Swiss advertising market in the year 2024 and published the outcome at the end of May 2025. According to the statistics, promotional products have retained their high relevance despite the overall subdued economic development. With an overall 2.2% decline in the total net advertising revenues down to CHF 4.1 billion (approx. 4.37 billion Euros), promotional products achieved a good, above-average result (-1.4%).

According to the survey, with a 20.8% share of the total turnover, haptic advertising lies in front of TV, radio and outdoor advertising. The figures for online advertising, which also ranks behind promotional products, is however subject to reservation, because the global technology platforms (including search engine advertising, YouTube and social media channels) are not taken into account in the survey. Especially the print section was strongly affected by the decline in turnover after experiencing a slump of 8.4%.

The statistics underline the stability of haptic advertising on the Swiss advertising market. Promotional products remain to be a key element of the marketing mix of many companies.
