The company’s own electric cars can be charged using self-produced electricity with immediate effect.
D – The promotional products distributor from South Germany, Eidex, expanded its existing photovoltaic system by 50 m² in February 2025 and has additionally equipped the entire carport surface with photovoltaic modules. Solar panels spanning 800 m² had already been installed on the roof of the company premises of Eidex, which already provide over 20 households in Baierbrunn with green energy.
The new solar plant now produces sufficient electricity when the sun is shining to provide power for almost half of the headquarters and one of the warehouses during the main working hours. Furthermore, the four electric company cars can be charged with self-produced electricity via the newly installed wall boxes at the company premises.

The carport has now also been equipped with a photovoltaic system.
Since the solar modules have been installed, more than 1,000 kWh of electricity has been produced and almost 400 kg CO2 avoided as a result.
