D – After celebrating its 75th company anniversary, Gabriele Bühring, Trittau, has announced a significant change: As of April 2025 the company is operating under the new name of Bühring Sonderanfertigungen GmbH. According to company accounts, the name change reflects the continual adaption in line with the dynamic market environment and the strive to create even more professional structures that do justice to the company’s growth.
Since its foundation in Hamburg in the year 1948 by Adolf Bühring as an exclusive leatherware sales company, the company has experienced constant further development. Today, Bühring Sonderanfertigungen GmbH is a renowned provider of sustainable haptic advertising media and individual sales promotion products. The line-up encompasses tailor-made items made among others from leather, felt, fine cardboard and plastic, but also from innovative, particularly environmentally-friendly materials like plant-based imitation leather, recycled PET felt and cork. According to Bühring, “saved leather” is a special highlight. Here, material left-overs from the car and upholstery industry are reprocessed into small, “made in Germany” leather goods.
It was stated that the decision to change the name to Bühring Sonderanfertigungen GmbH underlines the company’s commitment to adapting to meet the needs of the market and further optimising the internal processes. Through the new company structure the course is being set for future growth and the basis for even more efficient work flows is being created. The company’s Managing Director, Gabriele Bühring, stressed: “We look back on 75 years of successful company history with pride and gratitude. The name change is a logical step in consolidating our position on the market and continuing to be able to offer our customers innovative and high-quality products in the future.”
Bühring Sonderanfertigungen GmbH will continue to operate with its trusted team and the well-known level of quality. Except for the name nothing changes for the customers and suppliers; all of the existing contracts and agreements retain their validity.
