
Frank Geisler
D – The textile supplier, New Wave, which owns the endurance sport brand, Craft Sportswear and the corporate wear brands, Clique and Cutter & Buck, is expanding its Board to include two new experts. Since the beginning of the year, Frank Geisler and Steven Baumgaertner have been supporting the Board of New Wave GmbH, Oberaudorf, with their long-standing experience in the retail and corporate wear areas. The two new Board members will advise the management on strategic issues in these two business areas. They enhance the current Board, comprising of the founder and CEO of the New Wave Group AB, Torsten Jansson; the Vice President Sports & Leisure of the New Wave Group AB, Jens Petersson and Stefan Persson, CEO of Craft Sportswear AB, and are to strategically further develop the three New Wave brands and lead them into a successful future.
Frank Geisler was previously already employed as a sports specialised trade expert in key positions at Puma, Karstadt and Kaufhof and most recently spent six years as a board member of Intersport Germany, where he was responsible for areas like category management, the national and international supplier management, strategic procurement as well as sales & marketing. With his knowledge and industry experience he is to push the Retail section at New Wave.

Steven Baumgaertner
With his extensive knowledge on the theme of corporate wear, Steven Baumgaertner will support the strategic development of the Corporate Wear segment. Baumgaertner founded cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH 30 years ago together with Roman Weiss. Today the company’s client base includes renowned companies like Audi, Deutsche Bahn and Knaus Tabbert. Baumgaerner is also active in the European umbrella association, EAC.
The management of New Wave GmbH, which comprises of the country managers, Felix Lechner and Markus Müller, profits from the extended consulting competence of the Board, which with its in-depth market knowledge and strategic expertise will co-shape the future alignment of the company.
