NL – To commemorate the 40th anniversary of Araco, the promotional products specialists from Enschede published a review of the company’s history in March 2025. Henk Greftenhuis founded the company in the year 1984 with a vision and was convinced that his project would be a success. Over the years, the small business that initially supplied individually imprinted number plate holders grew into an internationally-operating wholesaler and import company. As the management stated: “We owe everything to the passion, innovative spirit and tireless commitment of our team.”
From the first successful product onwards, Araco grew rapidly and continually extended its line-up. The product range was quickly expanded to include promotional gifts, in particular textiles, which fuelled the growth. The inauguration of production sites in Romania and the foundation of an own printing shop in Enschede followed.
Today, Araco looks back on four successful decades characterised by innovations. Over 50 dedicated skilled workers from different areas – from consultants, to creative minds, through to technicians – form a strong team. “Each of the individuals lives out their passion for our products and contributes daily towards Araco writing further chapters in its success story. We thank all of our partners, customers and employees for their trust and support on this unique path. Here’s to the next 40 years,” the management commented.
