Philipp Plattner
A – KP Plattner GmbH based in Innsbruck, Austria announced the retirement of Markus Plattner as of January 31, 2025. His successor is his half-brother Philipp, who will run the family business in his capacity as sole Managing Director. After the company was founded in the year 1972 by Kaspar Plattner, his son Markus Plattner subsequently joined the management. He is now being succeeded by Philipp Plattner, who has already been working for the family business for nine years and has been a member of the board for six years, responsible for the strategic further development of the company.
“I am looking forward to further developing the company and leading it into a modern future with innovative approaches,” explained Philipp Plattner. His focus lies on the digital transformation, the optimisation of internal processes and the development of sustainable business models. He additionally plans to further strengthen the market position of KP Plattner GmbH with new partnerships and innovative products.
