2R5A3468 1 - Mega Show: Professional platformComasia drew a positive balance for Part 1 of the trade fair, did however make reference to the tense macroeconomic situation: “The international trade environment is challenging this year. With the European economy showing no signs of improvement and the on-going Russian-Ukraine conflict, global airlines are having to divert or cancel flights. Amid this challenging situation, the Mega Show Hong Kong Part 1 still managed to attract buyers from 110 countries and regions.”

According to the official figures, around 40% of the visitors came from Europe and the United States, which underlines the appeal of the trade fair for these countries. Over 50% of the visitors came from Asia and the Oceania region – which according to Comasia was above all due to the robust economy in the Asia-Pacific region and the high demand from the corresponding countries. “Buyers from around the world continue to perceive the Mega Show as a must-visit event for sourcing high-quality Asian made products, underscoring the show’s status as the premiere sourcing event in Asia,” the organiser stated.

Next year Part 1 of the Mega Show is scheduled from October 20-23, 2025 and will once again be staged at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. An official resumé including the attendance figures for Part 2 of the Mega Show was not available at the time of going to press.
